LASER CLASS 9000S AND 9500S Networkable Multifunction Facsimile

The LASER CLASS 9000S AND 9500S Networkable Multifunction Facsimile machines provide users with fast, high quality transmission and print speeds. Customers can either choose the 33.6Kbps Dual Line Option for twice the faxing power, giving the ability to send and receive faxes simultaneously, or send/receive two faxes at once. Or, they can instead choose to install Canon’s MultiSpot Network Printer Option on their LASER CLASS 9000S/9500S machine, adding the capability of network printing. In the future, users will also have the option to upgrade to the MultiSpot Document Distribution System, providing network PC faxing and network scanning capabilities.

Super G3 Increases Image Quality as it Decreases Line Charges

The LASER CLASS 9000/9500 MS/S Series incorporate the V.34 ITU-T fax modem standard and JBIG compression to save time and money. With JBIG, image data is compressed smaller** than conventional MMF data compression. Canon also uses V.8 technology to further reduce costs by shortening "handshake" time with connecting fax machines by approximately 6 seconds, and the retraining time between the transmission of individual pages by approximately 3 seconds.

Image quality is improved by Canon’s exclusive Ultra High Quality (UHQ) VI digital image processing system that automatically recognizes the type of document being scanned and sends it with superior image quality. With Smoothing, incoming faxes are printed at a resolution of 600 dpi for exceptional clarity. Outgoing images are scanned at up to 400 dpi with Resolution Enhancement Technology to significantly increase the quality of the document sent.
